The Pegasus-M Decoder is a stand alone compact video and audio decoder, compatible with MangoDSP’s Raven, Pegasus and Condor intelligent video servers.
It decodes H.264 or MJPEG video stream and G.711 audio stream, from the IP network, into standard analog video and audio signals.
The analog camera signal can be converted by MangoDSP’s video servers, to a digital network stream. The Pegasus-M Decoder will receive the stream, anywhere that the IP network is available, without any distance considerations, decoded it back to an analog signal and transfer it to the attached monitor or video switch.
The Pegasus-M Decoder, after its initial configuration, connects automatically to the source video server and enables, together with a standard analog monitor, easy deployment of a single view monitoring station, anywhere that an IP network connection is available, without any need for a PC.
The Pegasus-M Decoder allows full command and control of video parameters such as resolution, bit rate and frame rate, via the integrated user friendly web interface.
4CIF, CIF and QCIF resolutions are supported at up to full frame-rate (30/25 fps).
